Guidelines issued for efficient leaf pickup

Norbert the Skeleton has provided a reminder for residents on how to prepare leaves for curbside pickup. Residents are encouraged to place leaves at the curb by their scheduled pickup date. Leaves should be raked directly into the curb, avoiding placement in the street or on sidewalks, to ensure efficient collection.

It is important to keep tree limbs, sticks, and plastic bags of yard waste separate from leaf piles. These items should be placed with regular trash for collection. Mixing non-leaf materials with leaves can clog machines, causing damage and delays in the pickup schedule.
