Guidelines issued for efficient leaf pickup

Norbert the Skeleton has provided a reminder for residents on how to prepare leaves for curbside pickup. Residents are encouraged to place leaves at the curb by their scheduled pickup date. Leaves should be raked directly into the curb, avoiding placement in the street or on sidewalks, to ensure efficient collection.

Highlands High School announces homecoming parade details

Come out to celebrate the Bluebirds and support the sports teams and organizations participating in the 2024 Highlands High School Homecoming Parade. The event will begin at 6:15 p.m., starting from Guardian Savings Bank and proceeding north along the Avenue to the high school. Attendees are advised to check for updates on road pattern changes during this time. Candy will be distributed to spectators on the right-hand side of the street.

Community invited to join pumpkin carving for Fort Thomas Pumpkin Walk

Help is needed for the Fort Thomas Pumpkin Walk, scheduled for Friday, October 25 in Tower Park. Participants are invited to carve pumpkins and can either pick them up to work on at home or use the facilities provided at the Armory located at 950 South Fort Thomas Avenue.
