The Merchants & Music Festival has announced that Niko Moon, a chart-topping country artist, will headline its annual celebration. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Tower Park. Moon will perform on the main stage at 9 p.m., bringing his signature sound to Northern Kentucky’s largest music festival.
Niko Moon gained recognition as a solo artist in 2019 after working with the group Sir Rosevelt alongside Zac Brown and Ben Simonetti. His debut single "Good Time" quickly reached #1 on country radio, establishing him as a rising star in the country music scene. He has since continued to release popular songs that spread joy and positivity across the nation.
Born in Tyler, Texas and raised in Douglasville, Georgia, Moon was influenced by singer-songwriters such as John Prine and Patty Griffin. These artists were frequently played by his parents at home. Beyond his own career, Moon has written eight #1 songs and over 40 major label cuts for various artists including Morgan Wallen, Avicii, Dierks Bentley, Pitbull, Zac Brown Band, and Rascal Flatts. He also co-produced Zac Brown Band’s albums "Jekyll + Hyde" and "Welcome Home," and recently received recognition as SESAC Country Songwriter of the Year.
The Merchants & Music Festival is known for offering live music along with local flavors and family activities to the NKY region. Previous headliners have included Dylan Scott, Gabby Barrett, Andrew McMahon, and Dustin Lynch. The festival also highlights regional acts like Borderline, River City, and Tone Yard.
Attendees can enjoy a full day of entertainment with NKY/Cincinnati food trucks providing refreshments along with West Sixth craft beer. There will be a Kids Zone featuring circus performers, face painting activities, balloon artists, and bouncy houses.
The festival remains free for all attendees due to generous support from local sponsors and the Fort Thomas community.
