Police department hosts drug takeback day with DEA and Lions Club

The Fort Thomas Police Department is set to collaborate with the DEA and the Fort Thomas Lions Club on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Detective Brandon Vance and Officer Nicholas Hoffman will be present to collect old, expired, leftover, and unused prescription medications for safe disposal.

Additionally, members of the Fort Thomas Lions Club will gather old or unused prescription glasses. These glasses will be refurbished and provided to those in need.

The Drive-Thru Drug & Glasses Drop Off event will occur in front of the city building at 130 North Fort Thomas Avenue. A drive-thru lane will be available for convenience, allowing participants to remain in their vehicles.
