The City of Fort Thomas has announced it will host a contest for local residents, featuring several categories.
According to the announcement, themes include "Hallmark Movie," where participants decorate their homes to resemble a Christmas movie scene; "Holiday Street," awarded to the street with the most participating homes; "Clark Griswold," for the most extravagant decorations; and "People's Choice," which allows locals to vote on their favorite home.
The city will judge the first three categories on December 20, from 6-9 p.m. Following this, all entries will be posted on the town's Facebook page (@fortthomasky). The house or street receiving the most likes will win the People's Choice award.
Residents interested in participating or nominating a home are encouraged to email Sam Shelton at sshelton@ftthomas.org or call (859) 572-1209, providing the name, email, and address of the participating home.
