The City of Fort Thomas has announced the winners of its Holiday House Decorating Contest, recognizing outstanding festive displays across the community.
According to the announcement, the Best Hallmark Movie Houses awards were given to 145 Woodside Place and 809 South Fort Thomas Avenue. The title of Best Clark Griswold House was awarded to 37 South Shaw Lane, while Majestic Drive was named Best Holiday Street.
The judges also presented three honorary awards to houses that "needed a category of their own because they are on their own level." These included The Meaning of Christmas at 126 Newman Avenue, Classic Christmas at 35 Crow Hill Road, and Mega Watts at 16 Paterson Place.
The judges are currently tallying votes for the People’s Choice awards. Voting concluded on Friday, December 20. The city expressed gratitude towards all participants and those who visited the decorated homes. Residents are encouraged to visit these holiday-themed homes and streets before the decorations are taken down.
