According to KRS 133.045, the board shall convene no earlier than twenty-five days and no later than thirty-five days following the conclusion of the tax roll inspection period. Meetings are held from 9 a.m. to no later than 4:30 p.m., including an hour for lunch. The board meets for a minimum of three days and generally no more than five days but could extend up to seven days depending on workload. Board members receive $100 per day for their service.
