The City of Fort Thomas is seeking volunteers for various boards. Although many positions do not have immediate openings, the city aims to have a pool of residents ready for potential vacancies.
The boards in question include the Planning Commission, which reviews development and improvement matters through the Unified Development Ordinance and other ordinances. The Design Review Board evaluates aesthetic elements associated with developments in business districts. The Tree Commission oversees city tree plantings and removals while promoting trees generally. Lastly, the Board of Adjustment handles variances, conditional uses, and other zoning matters.
