The Fort Thomas Holiday House Decorating Contest is set to return this holiday season in Northern Kentucky. The contest features several categories, each offering a unique theme for participants to showcase their festive decorations.
Categories include "Hallmark Movie," which seeks houses that resemble the perfect scenes from popular holiday films. Another category, "Holiday Street," encourages neighborhoods with high participation rates in holiday decorating.
For those who enjoy extravagant displays, the "Clark Griswold" category celebrates over-the-top lighting setups that could cause noticeable power surges. Lastly, the "People’s Choice" award will be determined by public votes on Facebook after judging takes place on December 20.
