The Fort Thomas Senior Games, featuring a variety of competitive events for adults aged 50 and older, are set to commence on January 7, 2025, at the Armory. The venue is located at 950 South Fort Thomas Avenue. Registration on the first day will begin at 9 a.m., with games starting at 9:30 a.m. and concluding at 1 p.m. Events in January will have varying start times.

According to the event organizers, indoor games will include billiards, basketball spot shooting, cornhole toss, disc toss, mini golf, skittles, snowman toss, and various tabletop games. Interested participants can download registration forms from the official website.

The games will continue through January 24. Other scheduled events include shuffleboard on January 9, singles bowling on January 10, doubles bowling on January 13, chair volleyball on January 14, mixed doubles bowling on January 15, a sock hop dance party with ping pong or cards on January 16, a euchre tournament on January 23 (no partner needed), and a bocce tournament on January 24.

Several Pickleball Tournaments for experienced players are also planned: men’s doubles on January 17, women’s doubles on January 21, and mixed doubles on January 22. All tournaments will commence at 9 a.m.

Organizers state that all Senior Games participants must be aged 50 or older by January 7, 2025. Competitions will be held within age brackets according to Kentucky State Games official rules with modifications for the Northern Kentucky Senior Games. Winners will be awarded first, second, and third place in each age group for both men and women. For further information, contact Boone County Parks or the Northern Kentucky Development District.
