The Fort Thomas Fire Department is offering a workshop titled "Disaster Survival: A Guide for Individuals, Families & Communities (PER-334)" in Campbell County on March 14–15, 2025. The aim of the workshop is to equip individuals and families with the necessary skills to prepare for, endure, and recover from disasters.

The course employs a "me, we, they" strategy to guide participants in taking care of themselves, their families, and their communities before, during, and after a disaster. Participants will engage in facilitated discussions and hands-on activities that use real-life scenarios to illustrate how planning and preparedness can enhance survival chances and expedite recovery.

The workshop spans 12 hours over two days. On Friday, attendees are invited to a free dinner at 5:00 PM followed by registration at 5:30 PM. The class will commence at 6:00 PM. On Saturday, the session will begin at 8:00 AM.

The event will be held at the Campbell County Fire Training Center located at 10 Training Center Drive in Highland Heights, KY. Interested individuals can register online through the provided link.
