Today marks the last day of service for Mike Watson at the City of Fort Thomas Fire Department. Watson, a Firefighter and Paramedic, is set to retire on May 1st after a dedicated 17-year career.
Watson's career in firefighting began in 1996 at the Southgate Fire Department. Over the years, he also served the communities of Wilder, Florence, and Fort Thomas. His unwavering dedication, professionalism, and commitment to public safety have been noted throughout his career. Colleagues have praised his calm demeanor, skilled abilities, and leadership qualities, which have profoundly impacted both the department and those he served.
Expressions of gratitude have been made to Watson for his "exceptional service," marking his career as one of "courage, compassion, and integrity."
