The Fort Thomas Recreation Department has announced an open position for a Recreation Coordinator. The role involves registering and scheduling recreational leagues, organizing Mess Hall rental meetings, evaluating recreation programs, and providing feedback. Additional responsibilities include planning and implementing recreational activities as needed.

According to the department, the ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. "Candidate should have a passion for creating positive and inclusive recreation experiences. They should be adept at planning, implementing and evaluating programs while fostering a fun and engaging environment. Candidate should also be resourceful, a problem solver and open to feedback. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial."

Applicants must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize duties, manage time effectively, provide customer service to community residents and participants, build public relationships, understand basic financial principles, and track expenses.
