The City of Fort Thomas has announced that official Trick-or-Treat hours will take place on Friday, October 31st, from 6 to 8 p.m. The city is reminding residents and visitors to follow safety guidelines during Halloween festivities.
Officials have provided several recommendations for a safe evening. They advise participants to look both ways before crossing streets and to use crosswalks. Candy should be checked for safety, and individuals are cautioned not to eat anything homemade or that appears tampered with. It is also recommended that children go out in groups or with a responsible adult and avoid entering strangers’ homes.
To increase visibility at night, the city suggests using reflective tape, glow sticks, or flashlights. Drivers are urged to enter and exit driveways carefully and drive slowly throughout neighborhoods.
"We hope everyone has a spooky, fun, and safe Halloween!" the city stated.
