The City of Fort Thomas has announced the return of its annual Holiday Walk, scheduled for December 7. The event will begin at 4 p.m. with the Tour de Tinsel Ride, which this year will include golf carts. At 5 p.m., the lighting of the Inverness Tree will take place, accompanied by music and activities.
Participants are encouraged to wear ugly sweaters as they join in the festivities and display their holiday spirit. After the tree lighting at Inverness, attendees can visit shops and stroll through the Cultural Arts District until the lighting of the City Hall Tree at 7 p.m.
Organizers have also mentioned that more information about additional activities, such as a Gingerbread House Decorating Contest and opportunities for pictures with Santa, will be shared soon.
