Fort Thomas announces next Tower Talks community meeting for November 12
Eric Haas Mayor | City of Fort Thomas

City of Fort Thomas staff will hold a Tower Talks community meeting on Wednesday, November 12, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at The Post. According to the city, these sessions provide residents with an opportunity to share concerns, ask questions, and give feedback that may help shape future policies.

Leaders or representatives from several departments—including Police, Fire/EMS, Finance, Economic Development, Events, General Services, and Recreation—are expected to attend.

At the previous Tower Talks held on October 15 at Fort Thomas Coffee, topics discussed included updates on city projects such as the Midway streetscape improvements, Tower Park Sports Complex developments, work on Grand Avenue and Hollywood Drive. Participants also talked about rules for bidding processes, how the city handles foreclosures, and issues related to First Amendment auditors.

Other subjects raised were animal control matters like defining “vicious dogs” and efforts to promote the Campbell County Animal Shelter. Police department representatives addressed concerns about youth scooter use in the community, scams targeting seniors, and difficulties in assisting residents experiencing mental illness.

Economic development updates were also provided during the last session. These included information about new businesses opening in Fort Thomas, expectations for business signage compliance, timelines for the Grow Grant program designed to support local business growth, Design Review Board meetings (DRB), and upcoming community events.

The city encourages residents to attend the next session to participate in discussions that could influence ongoing projects and services.
