Get ready for a springtime celebration at Tower Park on Saturday, April 19. Families can look forward to a day filled with Easter festivities starting with a brunch event at 10 a.m. Participants can capture memories with photos alongside the Easter Bunny.
At noon, children can participate in an Easter Egg Hunt spread across various park locations. Depending on age, children will search for eggs on the Mess Hall Lawn, Baseball Field, Amphitheatre Lawn, or Tower Park Playground.
Following the egg hunt, adults can participate in the "Race the Rabbit" event at 12:20 p.m., offering them a unique experience during this family-oriented day.
Chanda Calentine, Economic Development Director and Events Coordinator, emphasized the effort to enhance the annual event: “This year, our team wanted to bring something new to the annual Easter Egg Hunt by creating more experiences for families to enjoy while they wait for the big event. With the support of local businesses, schools, and community partners, we’re excited to offer free breakfast items, fun activities for kids, mimosas and coffee for the adults, and even a chance for grown-ups to join the fun by racing the Bunny! It’s all about making the day more memorable for everyone.”
More information about the event is available on the city’s social media channels.
