A vacancy has opened on the Fort Thomas City Council following Andy Ellison’s appointment as Mayor. The council is now seeking applications from residents interested in serving for the remainder of the term, which ends December 31, 2026.
Residents who wish to be considered are asked to submit a letter or email addressed to the Fort Thomas City Council stating their interest in the position. Including a resume is encouraged but not required.
Applications can be sent by email to City Administrator Matthew Kremer at mkremer@ftthomas.org or delivered in person to the City Building. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
The council plans to select a candidate during its regular meeting scheduled for December 15 at 7:00 p.m.
