Eric Haas Mayor | City of Fort Thomas

The City of Fort Thomas has announced the return of its annual Pumpkin Walk, scheduled for October 23 and 24. The event will feature more than 400 carved Jack-o’-Lanterns on display.

On Thursday, October 23, attendees can view the pumpkin displays and receive books from the Campbell County Public Library.

Friday’s activities include food trucks, a movie at the Amphitheater, a petting zoo hosted by Penick’s Peckers, an Aloha Glow booth, light installations by Accent on Cincinnati, games and raffles organized by the Village Players, additional games provided by Tracy Davis – State Farm Insurance, board-breaking demonstrations from Summit Martial Arts, free hot dogs and water from the Lions Club, and free candy distributed by BF Realty & 7 Hills Church. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes for trick-or-treating and can have their photos taken at no cost courtesy of Marian Sizemore – State Farm Insurance & Lori Greis.

Organizers noted that details about pumpkin carving contest categories, a Halloween House Decorating Contest, sign-ups for Community Carving Days, and volunteer opportunities during the Pumpkin Walk will be announced soon.

Local businesses in Fort Thomas will also offer themed menu items before or after the walk. More information is available online at https://fortthomas.stqry.app/3/list/3907.
