Al Salvato Kids Fun Run returns with donation drive for children's shoes

The Al Salvato Kids Fun Run is set to return on July 4, offering an opportunity for children under 10 years old to participate in a friendly race. Participants do not need to register beforehand and can simply arrive ready to run the loop around the Mess Hall. At the end of the race, there may be a refreshing treat waiting for those who complete the course.

While there is no fee to join the Kids Fun Run, the YMCA will be collecting gently used or new children's running shoes. These donations will be given to the Brighton Center in memory of Al Salvato, aiming to inspire young individuals to take up running from an early age.
