Road construction at Grand and Highland Avenue set for October 6-7

Road construction is scheduled at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Highland Avenue starting Monday, October 6. Work will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and continue on Tuesday, October 7 from 6 p.m. to midnight for the connection of a new water main. Traffic control measures will be in place, but drivers should expect possible long delays.

The city has advised that if possible, motorists should avoid the area during these times. Following this work, restoration of the intersection is expected to last about two weeks, which may also cause delays.

Residents near the construction zone will receive notifications from the Northern Kentucky Water District if their water service will be affected by the project.
