The community is set to gather for the annual Memorial Bike Ride in honor of Sam Scott on Sunday, May 18. The event will commence at 1:30 pm from The Post – Pours & Rations, located at 1136 S. Fort Thomas Ave.
Participants will ride through town with a police escort, celebrating Sam's love for bike riding. The route includes a stop at First Baptist Church of Fort Thomas at 600 N. Fort Thomas Ave, where lemonade and cookies will be served before returning to the starting point.
This event aims to bring together family, friends, and community members to remember Sam Scott. He was a young man whose life ended tragically due to an accident involving a careless driver while he was biking home from work. A plaque in Tower Park commemorates his life and legacy.
Organizers encourage participation as a way to honor Sam's memory and advocate for bike safety.
