A stray dog found on Route 8 by Fort Thomas police officers has found a new home after being rescued and cared for. Over a year ago, Officer Joe Paolucci and Officer Brad Reichenbach discovered the dog, later named Randy, while on duty.
According to the account, "Officer Paolucci took him to the vet the next day, and he was transported to SAAP (Stray Animal Adoption Program). From there, Randy was adopted by Officer Paolucci’s father and now is living his best life! He gets to go hiking, camping, and fishing with them all the time. He has had such a great recovery, and we are so grateful to our Police Department that cares for every life in this community!"
The rescue highlights the efforts of local law enforcement in animal welfare and their role in helping stray animals find permanent homes.
