Mayor Eric Haas | City of Fort Thomas Ky

The City of Fort Thomas has announced updates to its upcoming Holiday Walk, scheduled for Sunday, December 7. The event will begin at 4 p.m. with the Tour de Tinsel Ride. Participants are encouraged to arrive by 3:45 p.m. with decorated bicycles or other wheeled vehicles. Santa Claus will lead the ride to the Inverness District, where a tree lighting ceremony is set for 5 p.m.

Afterward, attendees will return along the avenue through the Cultural Arts District, where local businesses and organizations will offer hot chocolate and treats. Activities also include opportunities for photos with Santa and viewing entries in the Gingerbread House Contest.

The evening concludes with a City Hall Tree Lighting at 7 p.m. Organizers have updated the event map to include additional businesses and organizations.

"Bundle up and join us this Sunday starting at 4pm with the Tour de Tinsel Ride! Meet us there at 3:45pm with your festively decorated wheels. Santa will be leading the way to the Inverness District just in time for the tree lighting at 5pm. From there, we will stroll back along the avenue through the Cultural Arts District – enjoying hot chocolate, treats, and more from local businesses and organizations. Get your picture taken with Santa, check out all the Gingerbread House Contest entries, and get ready for the City Hall Tree Lighting at 7pm."

Organizers encourage participants to wear their best ugly sweaters for this year's festivities.
